SpendFlex
Private expense tracking that builds better money habits.
SpendFlex is a privacy-first expense tracker built around one simple idea: financial awareness beats financial automation. Instead of connecting your bank, you manually record expenses, helping you become more conscious of your spending habits. Combined with powerful insights, budgets and forecasting, SpendFlex helps you understand your money without collecting your data.
Hi Product Hunt!
I’m the solo developer behind SpendFlex.
For the last few years, I’ve worked in the fintech industry, building payment infrastructure alongside companies such as Adyen and Stripe.
During that time, I realized something:
Financial apps have become incredibly good at moving money automatically, but not necessarily at helping people understand how they spend it.
That’s why I built SpendFlex.
Instead of connecting your bank account, SpendFlex encourages you to manually record your expenses. That small action creates a moment of awareness every time you spend money. Over time, those moments help build healthier financial habits.
SpendFlex then combines those entries with an insights engine that helps you identify spending patterns, recurring expenses, budget progress and future cash flow.
Privacy was just as important to me.
✅ No account required.
✅ No bank connections.
✅ No analytics.
✅ No tracking.
✅ Your financial data stays yours.
I’d genuinely love your feedback:
• Would you prefer manual tracking or bank syncing?
• Does the privacy-first approach resonate with you?
• What feature would make SpendFlex your daily finance app?
As a thank you to the Product Hunt community, if you’d like to try SpendFlex Premium, leave a comment or send me a DM and I’ll happily give you a free 2-month Premium trial.
I’ll be here throughout the day answering every question.
Thank you so much for checking out SpendFlex—I can’t wait to hear what you think.
This is a really refreshing take on expense tracking. Manual entry makes so much sense for building real awareness. One thing that would help me stick with it: a quick-add widget for the home screen, like a single tap to log a coffee or a ride. Friction is the enemy of a habit tracker and right now opening the app feels like a lot of steps for a small purchase.

Who hunted SpendFlex?
SpendFlex was hunted by Alfredo Caloto. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
