I'm Gabriel, the maker of SpeedQL.
Most ways to learn SQL are passive: you watch a tutorial, read a chapter, tick a multiple-choice box. But SQL only really sticks when you write queries yourself, get them wrong, and fix them fast. So I built a game around exactly that.
How it works: you get real tables, a short task, and 1 minute on the clock. Write the query, hit Ctrl + Enter, and if your result matches, you gain 30 seconds. Every 3 correct answers you level up, from a plain SELECT all the way to JOINs, CTEs and window functions. Your query is also checked against a hidden dataset, so hard-coding the answer doesn't work 😉
