Speechy is a native Mac app for people who run Claude Code and Codex. Their questions and permission prompts land in your notch: press 1 to allow, 2 to deny. Your plan limits sit beside the camera, and when Claude hits its limit, one click moves the whole chat to Codex, history and all. Hold Fn to talk to any agent by name, or to dictate into any app. Speech recognition runs on your Mac, so your voice never leaves it.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Jay, the solo maker of Speechy. I run 3 to 5 Claude Code and Codex sessions most days, and two things kept costing me time: agents sitting idle on a permission prompt in a terminal I wasn't looking at, and hitting Claude's usage limit halfway through a task. So Speechy puts your agents in the Mac's notch: • Questions, permissions and plans show up there. Press 1 to allow, 2 to deny. • Your Claude and Codex limits sit beside the camera. • When Claude runs out, "Continue in Codex" moves the chat with its messages, reasoning and tool history. It works the other way too. • Hold Fn and say "api, run the tests" to talk to an agent by name. Underneath, it's a full dictation app. Hold Fn in any app and talk. It runs on your Mac, drops the ums, catches "sorry, make it 9pm", makes lists, mixes languages in one dictation, and can ignore other people's voices. Honest limits: it's Mac only (Apple silicon), it's not open source, and it's paid, with a free trial. I'd love to hear what would make you trust a tool like this with your agents, and what breaks when you try it.
