Hey guys, I was starting my own clothing startup and realized like me there are many other aspiring founders that have design ideas but little technical knowledge at first. When it came time to make my designs into techpacks, there was a significant amount of tedious research, learning and trial and error I had to do and I didn’t have money to get someone to do the techpacks for me. It took me TWO WEEKS to make my first techpack.
So I made a tool that helps this problem. Specdesk is an AI powered tech maker maker with a few main features
1. Based on your garment’s description, creates a comprehensive template document all by itself with the necessary techpack sections for your garment (you can also customize/add).
2. Walls you through the whole techpack and suggests and explains technical aspects like material, stitch types, embroidery techniques, etc.
3. Gives you full control while automating all the tedious tasks (like filling size charts, drawing labels, repeating descriptions). You can add custom sections on top of the main template sections.
It’s powered by Claude and the AI is trained to be knowledgeable in fashion and techpack making. This is one of my first products and it would mean the world if you tried it out.
