I built Spec2Test Intelligence around a problem I kept seeing in software testing: we often start writing test cases before asking whether the requirement itself is actually testable.
Spec2Test takes a requirement and first looks for things like ambiguity, missing information, duplicates, conflicts, and dependencies. It then generates risk-based test scenarios, maintains requirement traceability, and can turn supported scenarios into Playwright TypeScript.
In the latest release, I added optional HTML/DOM input so Playwright generation can match interactions to actual elements and produce more grounded locators. If there isn't a reliable DOM match, it falls back instead of forcing one.
I deliberately kept the current pipeline deterministic and explainable rather than making an LLM a dependency.
It's open source, and I'd really appreciate feedback from QA engineers, developers, and anyone working on test automation. I'm especially interested in hearing what you'd want Spec2Test to handle next.
