Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm one of the two developers behind Sparq. My friend and I are built this entirely in our spare time over the last few months.
The idea came from frustration — Omegle shut down, every alternative is flooded with bots or has terrible mobile UX. We wanted something simple, clean, and actually fun to use on your phone.
The hardest part was building the matching algorithm — we wanted free users to still get good matches via shared interests, while VIP users get the bonus of location-based matching so you can meet people from your own city.
We're genuinely early stage — no big user base yet, no investor funding, just two friends who built something and put it out there. Every piece of feedback today means a lot to us.
