Hey Product Hunt! We're excited to unveil our next incubation from Every. Sparkle organizes your computer so you don't have to. It's really simple: 🗂️ You select what folders you want it to organize. It can organize your Desktop, Downloads, and Documents folders. ✨ Sparkle creates three folders inside of each organized folder. Recents, AI Library, and Manual Library. 🆕 All new files added to a folder organized by Sparkle will be moved to the Recents folder. 🏠 Don't want Sparkle to organize a file? Add it to the Manual Library. When Sparkle runs for the first time, it will take your existing folder structure and put it in there for safe keeping—so we don't mess up any organizational system you already have. 🧠 Sparkle creates and maintains a custom folder hierarchy in your AI Library so that you can find all of your files easily. All files older than 3 days will be moved from your Recents folder to your AI library. We've been using it for months and have loved the breadth of fresh air it brings to our computer. We're excited to hear your feedback and to continue to improve it based on what the Product Hunt community wants next! - Team Every

I was downloading it and realized how cluttered my downloads folder was. Excited to test it!

Super helpful for someone like me who functions much more efficiently in an organised set up but has accumulated so many unorganised files and folders right now that it is impossible to structure! Great idea and execution

Would love to see this on Linux as well! That's where all my mess is... so tired of: find / -type f -name "*.conf" 2>/dev/null \ -exec grep -H "magic" {} \; | \ awk -F: '{ print "File: " $1 " - Line: " $2 " contains magic!" }' | \ grep -E ".*[0-9].*" | \ awk '{ print toupper($0) }' | \ sort | uniq -c | \ awk '{ print $1 " occurrences of MAGIC found in " $2 }' You feel me?

I can see the use for it. But I keep my files super organized. Congrats on the launch.

It's like having a personal assistant for your files! Do you plan on expanding to Google Drive or Dropbox? Nice product!

Sparkle sounds like a dream for anyone who's ever struggled with digital clutter! The way it organizes files automatically is super appealing, especially since it keeps everything tidy across your Desktop, Downloads, and Documents. I love that it creates designated folders like Recents, AI Library, and Manual Library; it gives users control while taking the stress out of file management. The feature where it moves older files to the AI Library is brilliant—out of sight, out of mind, but still handy when you need them! The fact that existing structures are preserved really sets it apart; no one wants to lose an organizational system they’ve already established. I can see this truly enhancing productivity and making it easier to find things quickly. Can’t wait to see what updates you roll out next based on our feedback!

This looks like an amazing tool, @brandon_gell! The way Sparkle automates file organization sounds super helpful, especially for streamlining those cluttered folders. Love the thoughtful features like the Manual Library for those files we want to keep untouched. Can't wait to see how this can improve my workflow and productivity. Definitely going to upvote this one! Excited for more updates in the future! #Productivity #AI

I’m impressed with how this tool gets to the heart of why users stop using my app. It asks insightful questions and delivers data that’s super helpful for making improvements.

A great app to automatically organize files with AI. Loved that Sparkle adds images to folders, which makes finding content even easier and faster!

It digs deep into why users churn and gives actionable insights that are way better than just asking why they left.

I’ve found this tool really helps me understand why users leave. It goes beyond simple questions and provides detailed feedback I can actually use.

The idea of having AI organize files automatically while maintaining privacy is impressive. It might be great to have an option to customize the AI’s organization rules even further.

The automatic sorting into Recents, Manual Library, and AI Library is sure to keep desktops tidy. if there could be a feature to preview how files will be organized before applying changes, that would be a nice addition.

Oh why haven't anyone done this yet until now! Organizing stuff is the worst way to spend your time. Period. If I remember the file name I can search, but I forgot then say good bye to that file forever. I see that AI puts files into different categories - I'm curious if it's possible to change up the logics? For example, what if you want all screenshots or videos in one folder? Or all files related to a certain project/product in a folder? Would be great to be able to adjust the settings or logics. Maybe you can train it by manually label some files first? Not sure, but would be great if the app has some flexibility. Will try this on my Mac, but my PC is where I have most of my files, so would be nice to have that working as well! Congrats on the launch @brandon_gell and team!

This sounds like an innovative and time-saving solution for organizing files! How does Sparkle handle duplicate files or files with similar names? Is there a way to customize the folder system?

The privacy focus with Sparkle is reassuring, and the automation feature should really help streamline file management. A suggestion might be to include some kind of reporting or log feature to track how files are being organized over time.
