We built Spapilot because we were frustrated with our own hot tub electricity bills. In Sweden, a typical spa costs EUR 80-100/month to heat — and most of that energy is wasted heating at peak prices when nobody is bathing.
Spapilot connects to real-time electricity spot prices and shifts heating to the cheapest hours automatically. The result: same comfort, 40-80% lower costs. No new hot tub needed — it retrofits onto any Balboa or Gecko system in about 15 minutes.
