Hi Product Hunt, I’m Furqan, founder of SOXLayer.
I built this after watching SOX teams spend the last weeks of every year the same way: forty controls left, two testers, evidence spread across PDFs, screenshots and spreadsheets, and a reviewer who has to re-read all of it before signing.
SOXLayer does the reading. You upload the evidence, it tests each control attribute against your test template, and it returns a Pass or Fail with the exact quote and page number it relied on. The reviewer never has to hunt for the proof.
A few things we built most carefully:
• Every conclusion is cited. No “trust me” results.
• When you overrule the AI, it asks why and a named reviewer signs. The human stays in charge.
• Every action goes into a hash-chained audit log, so your external auditor can see who tested what, when, and from which page.
• Control library (RCM), test plans, deficiency tracking with owners and due dates, evidence requests, and PDF workpaper exports.
• Your data is never used to train AI models.
