I built SoundSwitch because I kept forgetting to silence my phone at the office and then forgetting to turn it back up once I got home — a tiny annoyance that happened almost every day.
SoundSwitch fixes it by watching which WiFi network you're connected to and automatically switching your volume profile — media, ringtone, notifications, and calls — based on that. Set it once per network (silent at work, loud at home) and it just runs quietly in the background.
A couple of things I cared about while building it:
Privacy-first — location permission is only used to read the WiFi name. Nothing is tracked, stored, or sent anywhere.
Battery-light — event-driven, not polling constantly (0.1–0.5% battery/day).
No ads, no subscription — free for 1 WiFi profile, one-time unlock for more.
