Hey everyone. My buddy (Cole) and I are a couple of engineers (based in Denver) and for the past year and a half we’ve been building an app called Soundcheckd.
The TLDR is that the app lets you track shows you’ve been to, rate them, write reviews, tag friends, keep a concert wishlist, set your top 4 artists, and see all of that for your friends too.
We use setlist fm for all of our concert data (thank you setlist fm for being so cool with your data unlike some other apps / websites!).
Soundcheckd was released on the App Store back in January, and while we’ve picked up some users, it’s mostly been friends and family. So, we’re hoping to get it in front of new users and gather feedback from anyone willing to give it a shot!
There might be other apps doing something similar by now, but we’re both engineers who are loving the process of building a product, so we’re going to try and keep going.
Literally any feedback is appreciated! We work on this on the side, so changes may ship overnight, but I promise we keep our JIRA board up to date and will try to tackle feedback as best we can :)
