SoundBoardio
The best soundboard app in the world… probably ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
SoundBoardio is a free, github-driven app where you can make your own soundboards. Each SoundBoard is fully installable to your device and looks like a real application! Your GitHub repository IS your soundboard. It's simple: Create a repo ➡️ Upload MP3s & JSON ➡️ Get instant URL. No database, just code.
We built SoundBoardio because I couldn't find a decent soundboard app that looked good and worked perfectly with keyboard shortcuts. They were either ugly, paid, or laggy.
So I made SoundBoardio – it's free, with open-source extensions, and runs right in your browser (PWA).
My favorite features:
🐙 Repo-to-App: Simply create a GitHub repo with your sounds, and SoundBoardio automatically turns it into a fully functional PWA. No hosting or build pipelines required.
⌨️ Keyboard shortcuts: Press 'Q' for a drum roll!
📱 Installable: Works as a native app on mobile/desktop.
♿ Accessible: Built with accessibility in mind.
🌑 Dark mode: Because obviously.
I'd love to hear your feedback! What sounds should I add to the default library next? Let me know below! 👇
