I'm the solo dev behind Sotto. I built this because I
wanted to journal but never had the energy to actually
type anything out, so I made an app where you just speak.
A few things I cared about while building this:
- Your voice never has to leave your device (Offline mode)
- If you do use cloud transcription, it's zero data retention
- No ads, no account required, no dark patterns
Currently supports English and Hindi, with more languages
planned. Built using Kotlin Multiplatform so an iOS version
is on the roadmap too.
