A native macOS app that simulates a community of AI agents reacting to any "what if...?" question. Agents have personalities, memory and relationships. Inject events, fork timelines, run polls. Runs on your Claude Code, Codex CLI or local Ollama. Free, MIT.
Hey Product Hunt! I'm Guilherme, the maker of Sorcerer.
I kept wondering how a group of people would actually react to an idea: a product launch, a policy change, a weird hypothetical. So I built a sandbox for it. You ask "what if...?" and Sorcerer creates a small community of AI agents, each with a personality, memory and relationships, and lets them post, argue and change their minds.
A few things you can do:
- Pause the run and inject an event to see how the mood shifts
- Fork a branch and compare two timelines
- Run polls and actions inside the simulation
- Get a report where each claim links back to the posts behind it
It's a native SwiftUI app (macOS 15+). There's no account and no server: it uses the Claude Code or Codex CLI you already pay for, or runs fully local with Ollama. It's MIT-licensed, and contributions are very welcome. There are good-first-issues open on GitHub.
I'd love to hear what you'd simulate first, and what's missing.
Linking each report claim back to the simulated posts is a useful detail. It gives someone a way to inspect how the agents reached a conclusion.

Who hunted Sorcerer?
Sorcerer was hunted by Guilherme Brasil. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
