Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'll be honest — there are already good tools for recording step-by-step guides. We didn't set out to reinvent that workflow. We built Sop software because one problem kept coming up: privacy. Most products upload your screenshots to their cloud by default. That works for many teams, but it's a non-starter at large companies with strict data policies — internal dashboards, HR tools, customer data on screen. Some people simply can't use those tools at work. We wanted teams to document how things work without wondering where their screenshots end up — or explaining the same process in Slack every week. 🚀 What is Sop software? Built with a privacy-first approach: guides live on your device until you choose to export or share. Nothing uploads by default. Export PDF, Markdown, or HTML into Notion, Confluence, and Google Docs — or create a public link only when you need one. 🎯 Guide Me replays your guide on the live page with on-page highlights — follow the glow instead of alt-tabbing to a doc.
