Hi Product Hunt - I built SongForge because I wanted the speed of AI music sketching without making the creative workflow depend on an account, credits, or a remote library.
SongForge is a native Mac studio. After a compatible model is set up, normal standalone generation runs locally. Start with a short description, move into detailed control over lyrics, style, tempo, key, length, voice, and variations, then compare and organize the results in a searchable local library.
The first three creations are included. SongForge Pro is a one-time unlock, not a subscription. The app uses no third-party analytics or tracking, and it explains the model download and storage requirements before setup.
I would especially value feedback on first-run model setup, the time from idea to a useful track, and whether the Simple/Custom split feels right. I'll be here throughout launch day to answer questions.
