I'm Sourav. I built sonex because every time I shipped a side project I hit
the same wall: add Google Analytics, add a cookie banner, wait 24h for data,
then open a dashboard with 40 tabs to learn that 12 people visited.
The privacy-friendly alternatives were better but felt like spreadsheets. I
wanted something that loads in a second, shows me what actually happened
today, and doesn't require a lawyer to deploy.
So sonex does exactly that:

The hardest part wasn't the dashboard, it was the ingestion path. Counting
unique visitors without cookies or storing IPs means a rotating daily salt and
hashing; you get accurate daily numbers and literally cannot re-identify
anyone later. That constraint shaped the whole schema.
