I built Solola because I kept coming home with too many things in my head and no one to really say them to.
Writing never worked for me. I'd edit myself before the words hit the page. Speaking is different. Things come out before you have time to filter them.
So I built an app where you press an orb, speak for 30 seconds to 10 minutes, and get back a gentle reformulation of what you just said. Your voice is deleted immediately after. Nothing stored anywhere.
The hardest part wasn't technical. It was teaching the AI to never give advice. Models naturally want to help and suggest solutions. I spent weeks teaching it to just listen and reflect.
After a few weeks, something strange happens. You start noticing patterns you never saw before. What you talk about every Sunday night. What comes up when you're stressed vs when you're happy.
