Hi everyone 👋
I’m Gareth, the founder and developer of Solace.
Solace started from my own experiences and from wanting to create something that could help people rebuild trust in themselves through small, achievable promises and consistent progress.
When I started this journey, I wasn’t an experienced app developer. I’ve had to teach myself a huge amount along the way — app development, AI integration, web development, design, testing, publishing and everything else that comes with taking an idea and turning it into a real product.
Solace has evolved a lot during that process. What began as an idea has grown into an AI-powered wellbeing companion that combines daily promises, mood tracking, journaling, progress tracking and a personalised AI companion in one place.
But I definitely don’t see the launch as the end of building Solace. It’s really the beginning of the next stage.
I’m here on Product Hunt because I want to learn from other builders, connect with people who have been through this process before, and most importantly get genuine feedback from people who try Solace.
If you give it a try, I’d genuinely love to hear what you think — what you like, what you don’t like, what feels confusing, what’s missing, or what you think could make it better.
