SoarStarter Kotlin
Launch native Android apps faster with Kotlin & Compose
SoarStarter Kotlin is a production-ready Android starter built with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material 3, Hilt, and MVVM. It ships working flows—not empty screens—for Supabase auth, profiles, CRUD and storage; RevenueCat subscriptions; FCM push; PostHog analytics; Sentry crash reporting; biometrics; deep links; onboarding; localization; and reusable UI. Optional integrations degrade gracefully, so you can run it first and connect services as needed. Own the full source and ship faster.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
After launching SoarStarter Swift, I wanted Android builders to have the same kind of head start—without spending their first few weeks rebuilding the plumbing every commercial app needs.
So I built SoarStarter Kotlin: a production-ready, fully customizable Android foundation built natively with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material 3, Hilt, and MVVM.
What’s inside:
🔐 Supabase authentication, profiles, CRUD, and storage
💳 RevenueCat subscriptions, entitlements, restore, and promo redemption
🔔 FCM push notifications and an in-app inbox
📊 PostHog analytics and Sentry crash reporting
🛡️ Biometrics, deep links, updates, review prompts, and legal consent
🎨 Reusable Material 3 components, themes, and English/Chinese localization
One choice I care a lot about: optional integrations degrade gracefully. You can run the project first, then connect Supabase, RevenueCat, Firebase, PostHog, and Sentry as you need them.
The included capability showcase is also isolated, so you can remove it while keeping the production foundation.
You get the complete source code, lifetime updates, and a license for unlimited personal and commercial Android apps.
I’d love your feedback: which part of Android app plumbing slows you down the most, and what would you like me to add next?
Thanks for checking it out! 🙌
honestly the part that sold me is that the optional integrations degrade gracefully, so you can boot it up without juggling a dozen api keys first. the revenuecat and supabase flows already wired in is kind of a cheat code.
