Hey Product Hunt 👋
I work at a startup that runs on Linear. Every UI bug I found went the same way: Snipping Tool, paste into Paint, draw a box, Save As, open Linear, drag the file in. Then again for the next screenshot.
I was opening Linear all day just to file small things. And my teammates outside engineering found it so annoying that they mostly stopped reporting UI bugs. We got "this looks broken" in Slack with no screenshot instead.
So I built Snipflag. It sits in your tray:
• Ctrl+Shift+2 and drag a region
• arrows, boxes, numbered steps, text, highlighter
• pixelate emails or card numbers (burned into the pixels)
• add up to 10 screenshots, reorder them
• pick team, labels, priority, then click Create issue
You get one clean Linear issue with every screenshot in order. Nothing leaves your computer until you click Create.
It's free and MIT licensed. Windows is the main platform, and macOS and Linux work too. One honest note: installers aren't code-signed yet, so you'll see a SmartScreen warning on Windows.
I'd love to know: what stops people on your team from reporting bugs?

Snipflag was hunted by Saqlain Razee. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
