I built Snel Nieuws because I was tired of how overwhelming keeping up with news had become. Every day there’s more content, more sources, and more noise—but not necessarily more clarity.
I wanted a way to stay informed without spending so much time scrolling, switching apps, or filtering what actually matters.
So I started building a simple news experience that focuses on:
• short, easy-to-read updates
• only the most relevant stories
• personalization based on what you care about
• and a clean, distraction-free experience
What surprised me while building it was how much people don’t actually want *more news*—they want better clarity and less overload.
Snel Nieuws is still evolving, but the goal is simple: help people stay informed in minutes, not hours.
