I built Sneks.lol because I wanted to turn one of the simplest games ever made into a small global competition.
The idea is simple: open the site, play Snake, get the highest score you can, and compete on a server-verified global leaderboard.
One thing I wanted to avoid was making the leaderboard entirely dependent on scores submitted by the browser, so the game includes server-side verification to make competition more trustworthy.
Sneks.lol is intentionally simple — no downloads and no complicated setup. Just open the site and play.
This is still an evolving project, so I’d love to hear your feedback, especially about the gameplay, leaderboard, and anything that could make it more fun.
