Every PaaS charges $5–7/month minimum to keep your container running. SnapDeploy charges $1 for 24 hours — no card, no auto-renewal. Push code from GitHub, we handle builds, SSL, and scaling on AWS. Free tier with 10 deploys/day. AI fixes broken Docker builds.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Somdip, founder of SnapDeploy. After watching too many indie devs get priced
out of basic hosting, I built the PaaS I wished I'd had: deploy any Docker app
for $1 per 24 hours. No subscription, no card on file until you actually need
always-on.
The pricing came from a simple observation. Every dev I know has 6 side projects
but only needs 1 running at any time. Heroku's free tier going away in 2022
left a hole nobody filled with the right shape. $0 to deploy, $1 if you need
it on for a day, $12 if you need it always-on monthly.
A few things that gave me confidence this is the right time:
🚀 Accepted into Anthropic's Claude for Startups program last week. SmartFix
— our AI that auto-repairs broken requirements.txt, package.json, and Dockerfile
builds — runs on Claude. Being in the program means we can keep pushing what
that AI fix layer can do.
🇮🇳 DPIIT Startup India Recognition (DIPP267055). Government of India recognized
us as a tech startup last week. Quiet validation, but real.
💸 External paying customers including a repeat Sprint Pack buyer. People who
didn't know me before signing up are paying — and one came back for a second
Sprint Pack. That repeat purchase is what told me this is more than a vanity
launch.
If you have a Docker app you've been putting off deploying because the monthly
bill felt heavy — that's exactly the workflow this is for.

Would love any honest feedback, or war stories about PaaS pricing.

Bookmarked. The "no Kubernetes, no YAML, no DevOps degree" framing is exactly what I need — last weekend I spent 4 hours trying to get a tiny FastAPI service deployed because I wanted to learn k8s "properly," and I just wanted the app online. Two questions: (1) what happens when the container OOMs — auto-restart or do I have to redeploy? (2) any way to pipe container logs into something like Logtail or just use the dashboard?
The AI build-fix feature is the part I want to know more about — I lose more
time to broken requirements.txt and Dockerfile errors than to actual coding.
How narrow is SmartFix's scope? Does it only touch dependency files and base
image issues, or does it ever try to rewrite application code? Asking because
I've been burned by "AI fixes your code" tools that touched things they
shouldn't have.

Who hunted SnapDeploy?
SnapDeploy was hunted by Somdip Roy. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
