I’m Allon, founder of SnackPro.
This product started in a hospital room.
My daughter Melissa was given a piece of chocolate that had cashew in it. Within minutes, she was spiraling toward anaphylaxis. We gave her an EpiPen while on the phone with emergency services. At the hospital, things got worse before they got better. Multiple shots of adrenaline. Hours of fear. The kind of fear that rewires you as a parent.
We knew she was allergic to sesame.
We did not know sesame allergy could be connected to cashew and pistachio risk. No one had told us. Not the doctors. Not the papers we read. Not the labels we stared at like forensic evidence.
That gap almost cost us everything.
SnackPro was built from that scar.
It helps people scan food and understand possible allergen risks before they eat. It also flags linked allergens, because the danger is not always the ingredient you already know about.
Over time, we added what families actually need in real life: multiple profiles, shareable scan results, printable allergy cards for schools and caregivers, restaurant/travel allergy display in 30+ languages, and broader dietary tracking like high sugar, sodium, saturated fat, pregnancy-risk foods, vegan, kosher, halal, and more.
But the heart of SnackPro is simple:
A child asks, “Can I eat this?”
And a parent needs a better answer than “I’m not sure.”
We built SnackPro for Melissa. Now we’re sharing it with every family living with that same fear.
