SMS Portal only uses real carrier-backed US numbers — never VOIP — so verification actually goes through. Pick a service from 740+ options, get a number, and the code lands in seconds. You only pay when a code actually arrives; if nothing comes through, you're not charged. There's an HTTP API if you want it inside your own flow, plus a Chrome extension so you can grab codes without leaving the tab you're on.
