Smplr started with a problem I personally had as a bedroom guitarist: my best ideas were disappearing into a graveyard of half-labeled Voice Memos I could never find again.
I built Smplr to have one place where I could capture a riff the moment it landed, shape it over time, and eventually share it with people who love making music as much as I do.
At first, I thought I was just building a better way to organize song ideas. But after sharing Smplr with early musicians, I realized the bigger opportunity was creating a community around the unfinished moments of making music — the rough demos, random melodies, and ideas that usually never see the light of day.
Smplr is brand new and being built alongside its earliest members. I’d love your feedback as we continue shaping what this becomes.
