Hi Product Hunt! I’m the maker of Slow Medicine, an iPhone app that brings medication schedules, dose records, and medicine inventory together.
I wanted the app to cover the practical questions around a medication routine: What’s scheduled today? Did I record this dose? How much medicine is left? Is anything approaching its expiry date? Can I prepare a clear medication list for my next appointment?
Slow Medicine supports daily, weekly, interval-based, and phased schedules, alongside refill tracking and expiry dates. You can scan text from packaging on your device, review the details before saving, and export a medication-list PDF or CSV records.
You can manage separate household profiles on one phone. Remote family sharing and caregiver monitoring aren’t included. Personal iCloud sync is optional, and no separate app account is required.
There’s a one-time 7-day trial that you activate manually. It doesn’t start a paid subscription or automatically charge you. Afterward, US pricing is $1.99/month or $14.99/year for the same features. Existing data stays viewable and exportable without an active subscription; editing, dose logging, and reminders require one.
It’s an organizational tool, not a source of treatment advice. Reminders depend on iOS settings and periodically opening the app with an internet connection.
