Slay your dragons is a free iOS app that helps you face things you've been avoiding from unopened bills to specific phobias. These dragons are broken down into realistic steps you set at your own pace. Consistent acts of courage help to build resilience, confidence, and a calmer mind. If you are stuck, what you want is always where you least want to look. Face your dragons, it'll push you to your limits, but thats what makes it valuable, that's why dragons hoard gold.
I made Slay Your Dragons because I kept avoiding things that needed facing, by trying to explore other options and would have saved a lot of time facing them to begin with. I felt like it could have a lot of applications including for people who generally want to self improve, overcoming fears restricting them and help confront bad memories.
You write things you are avoiding and break them down into steps which are easier to face. I made it with a dragon fighting theme as the dragon represents what you are facing and you earn gold for conquering the dragon.
It’s free on iOS and still early, so I’d really appreciate feedback or ideas for improvement.
