Save text templates and insert them anywhere on the web by typing //. Minimal, fast, private — everything stays on your device. Stop retyping the same things every day. slash slash saves the text you use again and again — your address, email sign-offs, meeting links, out-of-office replies, support answers — and drops it into ANY text field on the web the moment you type // and a shortcut.
The // trigger is genuinely clever, feels way more natural than digging through menus. Love that everything stays local too, kind of rare to see privacy baked in from the start like that.
Finally tried Slashslash and the // trigger feels so natural, I caught myself reaching for it outside a text field out of habit. The local-only storage is a nice touch too, no extra account to babysit.
the all-local approach is such a smart call for something handling snippets, no server trust needed and the // trigger feels like something I'd actually remember without thinking.
Love how offline-first this is, no account nonsense. One thing I'd love to see: per-template triggers, like //sig for work signatures and //sigf for casual ones. Right now a single // prefix means my snippets collide when I'm switching contexts.
The double-slash trigger feels really natural once you start using it, and having everything stored locally is a nice touch. Wish I had this years ago for all the repetitive email replies I send.

Who hunted Slashslash?
Slashslash was hunted by Shubham Gupta. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
