slash-editor
Notion-style block editor for React. MIT, UI you own
slash-editor gives your React app the Notion block experience: a slash menu, drag handles, nested reorder, turn-into, comments and real-time collab. It runs on a headless Tiptap v3 core. The UI arrives through a shadcn registry, so the components land in your repo and follow your Tailwind tokens. Tables, columns, Mermaid, AI via your own model, markdown import/export. MIT end to end, no paid tier, nothing hosted.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Nhat. I kept rebuilding the same Notion-style editor in different products. The engine
(ProseMirror/Tiptap) is great and free. The block UX on top usually isn't: slash menu, drag
handles, block comments.
slash-editor is my attempt to make that layer open and ownable:
🧠 Headless core: logic you update from npm
🎨 shadcn registry: markup you own and restyle
🤝 Collab, comments and AI are all adapters, so you bring your own backend
📜 MIT top to bottom
Try the playground (open it in two tabs with `?collab=ph` to see live collab):

I'd love to know which block you'd want next.
