Honestly, I saw SlapMac blow up and thought - why is there no good Windows version? Most attempts were barebones mic-only apps with no real polish.
I'm 19, second year CS student, and this is my first indie app. I wanted to build something end to end - Rust backend, Tauri v2, accelerometer detection with mic fallback, multiple sound packs, custom sound imports, license key system, landing page, payments, the whole thing.
The goal was never to reinvent the wheel, just to ship something real and learn the full process of taking a product from zero to paid.
Would love feedback from anyone who tries it. Especially on the Windows accelerometer detection since that varies a lot across laptops.
