How janky does the accelerometer read on the new M-series MacBooks, and does it ignore the keyboard deck so a typing session won't set off the overlays?
Reading the raw accelerometer data directly from the MacBook chassis to trigger those anime overlays is a clever little hack, feels way more responsive than the usual keyboard shortcut mash. Also love that the haptic feedback is actually tuned to the impact strength, not just a generic buzz.
How does it actually distinguish between an intentional tap and me just shifting in my chair or closing the lid, since it's pulling from raw accelerometer data?
would love to see a per-app whitelist so the slaps only trigger inside certain games or apps, otherwise accidental nudges during normal typing start firing reactions. maybe a small sensitivity slider in the menu bar too.
