Skreno is a video studio in your browser: record, edit and share in one place. Record your screen and camera as separate tracks, then edit in Studio: pick a layout, cut silences, and add animated captions and titles. Share one link with a transcript, AI summary and comments on the exact second. Send a request link and anyone can record for you, no account needed. Bug reports come with the console log attached.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Sadek, maker of Skreno.
Making a good video used to take three tools: one to record, one to edit, and one to host and share it. Then someone asks "can you send me the transcript?" and it's a fourth.
Skreno puts all of it in your browser:
🎥 Record: screen and camera as separate tracks, up to 4K on paid plans
✂️ Edit in Studio: choose the layout after you record, cut silences and filler words, add animated captions and titles
🔗 Share: one link with a transcript, an AI summary and comments on the exact second
📨 Requests: send a link and anyone can record for you, no account needed
🐞 Bug reports: record with the extension or without and the console log comes attached
You can start on the free plan and see how it works. We have a special lifetime launch deal going on for you to grab!
What do you record most: walkthroughs, demos, feedback or bug reports? I'd love to hear what would make Skreno fit how you work.
I'll be here all day answering every comment 🙏
4K screen and camera as separate tracks, recorded live in a browser tab, sounds rough on anything but a recent laptop. a native app gets to use the OS compositor and hardware encoder, a tab is fighting the browser's own rendering and GC for the same CPU. what's a realistic recording length before people hit dropped frames or audio drift on a mid-range machine, and does that budget change much between Chrome and Safari
Love how Skreno brings recording, editing, and async feedback together in one seamless workflow. Loved it.
I like that people can record a video without creating an account. That makes sharing feedback much easier.
Recording the screen and camera as separate tracks is really useful. It gives you more freedom when editing video later.
I checked your demo video, looks like you put a lot into this product. Not sure if it will be useful for me, but it looks interesting!
Tried Skreno for making tutorials. It is smooth!
Editing studio makes it easy to publish the videos faster with not much editing skills. Can we publish directly to youtube?
Good Morning @sadek_hossain - I'm very excited for your launch of this. I am around for a lot of the day too! I have been using Skreno this morning for my You Tube channel and also inside my community. I cannot believe how much you have saved me a whole load of time. I've done five videos already and now due for another coffee! I'll be keeping my eye on your channel here. It's an amazing deal.
