Hey hunters,
Since started from a small, dumb annoyance: I kept doing mental math to answer questions like "how long since I last went to the gym?" or "how long have my partner and I been together?" I had a handful of these dates scattered in my notes app and subtracted from today every time I was curious.
So I built the simplest version of a fix — add an event, and it counts the days for you. The feature I ended up using most is the home-screen widget, because the number is just there without opening anything.
The part that surprised me: people use it for two very different reasons. The positive ones (anniversaries, sober streaks, exercise) and the accountability ones ("days since I swore I'd stop doom-scrolling"). Logging resets turns it into a little streak chart, which is weirdly motivating to watch.
It's a solo project, Android-only for now, and I'm actively improving it. I'd love feedback on two things: is the free limit (5 events) reasonable, and what would make the widget more useful for you?
