I built this because every Bangladeshi business owner I know keeps
accounts in a notebook or WhatsApp — not because they're
disorganized, but because accounting software speaks a language they
don't: debits, credits, journal entries.
simpledgr flips that. You say "I sold something" or "a customer paid
me" — it handles the double-entry books underneath. BDT, VAT at 7.5%,
TDS, and Mushak 9.1 are all baked in, not bolted on.
It's built specifically for Bangladesh — not a global tool with a BDT
toggle.
Still early, still rough around some edges. But if you run a shop,
