I'm Maxence, solo maker of Simple Folder.
I live inside ChatGPT and Claude every day — for work, side projects, random ideas. At some point I had hundreds of chats piled up in the sidebar, most with titles that meant nothing a week later. And the ones that actually mattered — where I'd iterated on a prompt for 20 minutes and finally landed on something great — were the hardest to find again, buried under everything else.
ChatGPT and Claude both save your history. Neither really lets you organize it.
So I built Simple Folder.
What it does
Simple Folder adds a side panel that works across both ChatGPT and Claude — same workspace, both platforms, no switching tools.
Drag chats into folders and subfolders
Tag conversations and filter by tag, source, or search
Pin your favorites so they never get buried
Save prompts you reuse, with variables you fill in on the fly
