Simbioza
Self-hosted wiki and CMS with optional Confluence import
Simbioza is an open-source wiki and CMS for organizing knowledge on your own server. It combines multilingual workspaces, page trees, granular permissions, rich-text editing, drafts, version history, CalDAV calendars, themes and accessibility tools. An optional Confluence importer helps you migrate pages and attachments. Try the public demo or install it yourself.
I built Simbioza because I couldn't find a good alternative to Confluence. As Confluence moves to the cloud, I needed a self-hosted solution with useful features such as calendars, task management, an advanced WYSIWYG HTML editor, an API and more. A reliable importer that preserves existing Confluence pages was also essential.
I also wanted to keep the application as self-contained as possible, with minimal dependencies. Simbioza is built on heartphrame-framework, which is written in plain PHP, and follows the same approach.
