SidePaste
Drag text & images onto a glass shelf on your screen edge
SidePaste is a temporary shelf that slides in from your screen edge. Drag text and images onto it to park them, drag them back out — or click to copy. Keyboard-first search, 100% on-device, native macOS 26 Liquid Glass. One-time purchase.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Tomoro, the maker of SidePaste.
I kept needing a spot to park things mid-task — a paragraph I'm moving between
apps, a screenshot I'll use in a second, a link I don't want to lose. Clipboard
managers just log everything; file shelves don't handle text well. So I built
SidePaste: a temporary shelf that slides in from the edge of your screen.
Drag text or an image onto the panel to park it. Drag it back out into another
app to drop it in place, or click to copy. Hit a shortcut and the glass panel
glides in with your cursor already in the search box — type to filter, ↑↓ to
pick, ↩ to copy. Pin what you want to keep; clear the rest.
What I cared about:
- Native macOS 26 Liquid Glass, not a web wrapper — the whole app is 467 KB.
- Drag & drop both ways, text AND images.
- 100% on-device: no account, no cloud, zero network access.
- One-time purchase. No subscription, no IAP.
Solo project — I'd love your feedback on the drag-and-drop shelf idea. I'll be
here all day. AMA! 🙏
