Shram is an AI-powered tool that recognises your impact at work. Simply organise projects or tasks and Shram will ensure your team stays motivated and productive. With V2 we have made Shram more adaptable, joyful and minimal. Try it today! ⚡️
Hi everyone! We are excited to share Shram 2.0 with the Product Hunt community again today! 😄
We launched 6 months ago and received fabulous feedback to build a better version. We are deeply grateful to each one of you who helped us. It gave us direction and the necessary motivation to continue building even today. ❣️
Our goal at Shram is to build the most delightful work management tool, and in order to do that we want to win the hearts of all our users. Thus we asked ourselves - What if there were an engaging system that would take in all of your daily work and ensure that you are truly recognised for your efforts and impact at work?
Well, that is Shram! ⚡️
We are building Shram to make boring work management fun, engaging and meaningful. How?
❇️ Based on the tasks that you complete, you earn weekly XP.
❇️ Based on your activity, you gain monthly badges that teammates can steal from you.
❇️ All work data is automatically compiled into a work report can be used as a reference for performance evaluations saving you time and effort.
If you have tried conventional tools but could not stick with them, Shram could be a game-changer for you!
As a manager, you can spend more time on your real work instead of pushing your team to log-in their daily tasks into boring tools. As an employee, it could be a fun way of nudging yourself in performing better while being recognised for your contributions! 💪.
In terms of product updates wrt Shram 1.0, we have improved a LOT:
☀️ All new UI - Unlike a completely new interface like before, now we have one that is easier to start with
🍃 Simple organisation - Now you just have folders that you can infinitely nest work in, unlike a fixed hierarchy before
✨ AI-powered insights - AI-generated real-time summaries of ongoing work and holistic work reports
🏆 Better gamification - Monthly badges and weekly XP bars
🎯 New ways to oversee work - We have overview, list view, table view and a Kanban board
🔍 Search in natural language - Search by your memory, not keywords
⌨️ Keyboard shortcuts - No need to switch between your keyboard and mouse
☎️ Live in-app support - Just speak to us anytime within Shram
Also, we have some really cool features planed ahead to boost your productivity with AI:
🚨 Cognitive load status - Know if a person is overburdened and if so, who should be assigned that task instead
🚠 Intelligent LOEs - Find optimal assignments based on your team’s competence to avoid delays
⚔️ Skill improvement - Clear directions on improving skills based on your current proficiency
⚙️ Key integrations - Slack, MS Teams, GitHub, WhatsApp, Discord and more
🍃 Context-aware AI - Create/update work on Shram from your conversations on Slack, Gmail, etc without manual input
🦾 A real work-assistant - Given your past preferences, performance and more, plan your day the best way possible
and more...
Much of what we want to do with Shram is not possible today because the rich, granular work data that is required to drive these outcomes is impossible to collect because we hate logging in work.
Just like last time, we are looking for your feedback to build exactly the features you need to hop onto Shram from your current project management tool. As a token of our gratitude, you can use the PH promo code to extend your free plan. 💸
Special thanks to our hunter Kevin Williams David - @kevin who is supporting us for this launch. We wouldn’t be here today without all your support! Thank you everyone! ⭐️
Revolutionizing work, one XP at a time!
Huge applause to Jay and the team for reimagining work management in such an exciting way via Shram 2.0—gamification and AI insights are indeed the way forward!
Shram look like a great way to recognize contributions and boost team motivation. How does it ensure fair recognition across diverse team?
hey @jay_gadekar ,
i really loved the UI of shram, it's very intuitive. I wanted to know how it can replace Jira or Asana for mid sized teams.
Congratulations on the launch! Shram 2.0 already looks like it is going to blow the roof!
Hey everyone,
First off, huge congratulations to the Shram team on the launch of Shram 2.0! It’s amazing to see how far you’ve come in just six months. The feedback loop you’ve created with your community is clearly paying off, and it’s evident in the improvements and new features you’ve introduced.
Turning work management into something fun and engaging is no small feat, but it looks like Shram is on the right track. The gamification elements—like earning XP and badges—are super creative and could genuinely make a difference in keeping users motivated and invested in their work. The idea of having all work data automatically compiled into a performance report is also a game-changer. Anything that saves time and effort while making work more meaningful is a huge win in my book.
The new UI and organizational features sound fantastic. Infinite nesting of folders and multiple views (overview, list, table, Kanban) offer a lot of flexibility, which is crucial for different work styles. And I’m particularly excited about the AI-powered insights and natural language search. These features could make Shram a truly intelligent tool that adapts to how people actually work.
The planned features for the future are equally impressive. Cognitive load status and intelligent LOEs are exactly the kind of data-driven insights that managers need to optimize their teams. And the integrations with Slack, MS Teams, and other tools show that Shram is designed to fit seamlessly into existing workflows.
I love the vision behind Shram: making work management not just bearable, but genuinely enjoyable. It’s clear that you’ve put a lot of thought into creating a tool that addresses real pain points while also being intuitive and fun to use.
Wohoo, huge congratulations on the launch 🥳
Been always a huge fan of the innovative ideas of Shram, wish everybody can discover this product to get a glimpse of the future of work management 🚀
Absolutely love the powerful natural language search and the cool gamification!! Need to earn more badges on Shram! 🫢
The Shram 2.0 update looks amazing. Gamified work management? The XP and badge system sound like a great way to stay engaged. We will try it and let you know how it goes! Congrats on the launch !🎉
Love the concept. Gamifying productivity is such a natural way to motivate and recognize individuals. Your philosophy resonates with my IC and Managerial personalities. Contributors don't want to be micromanaged, managers don't want to slog through performance reviews. Very rare to see products like this that appeal to both.
The difference between th previous version and this one is remarkable! Excited to try this with my team.
The entire belief system that forms the foundation of Shram—making work more delightful—shines through with every feature, every piece of feedback, and every upgrade!
It’s an absolute joy in terms of design, making work more meaningful and allowing people to truly visualize the impact of our efforts (a great step towards encouraging our managers to rely on tangible work rather than personal biases, Lol).
Very excited, since Shram is evolving into something truly meaningful that will positively impact many lives.
Wishing you all the best—sending lots of love and always cheering you on!
Shram has been god-send for our team so far. All the best to Jay, Ojasvika and Team. What a superb product you guys have made :)
Looks great! A real motivator for the team. Curious to see the analytics on Shram's implementation within the team.
Congrats on the launch of Shram 2.0, Jay and team! The new features and improvements sound fantastic, especially the gamification elements and AI-powered insights!
Guys, incredible product! Wish you best of luck! Have you had in mind screen time tracker too? So a person could know how many hours spent on a task or in special program
