Quick question… How many photos do you have on your phone, and when’s the last time you went through even half of them? Exactly. (Ok I lied, 2 questions) Photos used to capture core memories, now they just take up memory. ShowYaRoll turns your forgotten camera roll into a private social game where users respond to prompts (written by comedians & therapists) with their choice of photos, connect, laugh and vote, all while rediscovering the stories hiding in their albums.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 Thanks for checking out ShowYaRoll. The idea for SYR actually came to be while chatting with my fiancée about trips we had taken before we met. We realised we both had photos of the same places, but completely different experiences attached to them. That moment made me think: Our camera rolls are basically museums of moments in our lives we never visit. We all have thousands of photos on our phones, yet most of them die a slow digital death, never to be seen again. So we built ShowYaRoll – a social tool that turns your forgotten memories into new shared ones. Here’s how it works: 📸 Players join a private room with friends 🎯 Everyone receives a prompt written by comedians & more 🖼 Submit a pic from your hand of photos 😂 Vote, laugh, and rediscover the stories behind each other’s photos And because the content comes from your own memories, every experience ends up completely different depending on who’s playing. We’ve been playtesting it at gatherings, community events, BBQs, game cafés, random parks (because that doesn't sound shady)... and the thing we keep seeing between the laughs and the stories is people rediscovering sides of themselves they’d long forgotten, and discovering sides of their friends they’d never seen before. If this sounds like your vibe, please give it a try. And I'd genuinely really appreciate your feedback, PH community: • What kinds of prompts would you want to play with friends vs family? • When would you play something like this? (parties, dates, road trips?) • What do you think could improve the experience? Thanks for checking it out you kind soul 🙏
