I've walked past more conference booths than I can count at conferences and expos across the globe. Companies spend a fortune on them, they're up for three days, and then they're gone. The booth always seemed like a good idea to me. The three days was the problem (as were the post show headaches and the mountains of swag I'd inevitably pick up).
Then I saw cubicles.lol, which is absolutely epic, go look at it. It clicked: do that, but as a trade show. So I built Showfloor.lol
You walk to a free plot, paste your URL, and the booth builds itself from your site. Then you can swap the pictures, add cards that link to your product pages, and put a YouTube video on the booth's screen. Click the screen and it plays right there on the wall.
The bit I care about most is the numbers (I'm a data and adtech guy). Every booth shows how many people walked up, how many opened it, how many clicked through to your site, and how long they stayed. No real booth ever told anyone that.
It's free for 7 days, no card. After that it's $19 a month for a small booth by the wall,and gwts more expensive in the middle. Planning on opening specialized halls per industry perhaps as we grow.
