I always felt like showers were way more complicated than they needed to be. Soap mess, loofahs, awkward angles… it just felt inefficient. So I went too far and built something. It dispenses gel with the press of a button, has swappable/washable exfoliating wraps, and extends so you can actually reach your back. Prototype’s almost here—curious if this is as useful to others as it felt in my head.
Hey everyone — I built Shower Shawty after realizing how awkward and inefficient showering can be, especially when trying to reach your back or apply soap evenly. I also noticed I was going through shower gel way faster than I should.
I wanted a simpler way to apply soap and reach every part of your body without the usual struggle. That led to the button-press dispenser, extendable handle, and swappable exfoliating pads.
I have a full CAD design and I’m currently building out an initial prototype.

With how much body wash costs now a days I see this being a great product. Being able to extend the handle and reach your back is also a cool feature!
