Shovie
Record an update. Share a link. Get a video reply.
Hey Product Hunt. I built Shovie because I was tired of seeing meetings stacked on my calendar just to communicate a quick update. Email communication can be bulky, and context from normal screen-share tools can get lost in translation. I wanted a low-friction way to record something, share it without worrying about timezones or checking calendars to schedule another meeting. With Shovie, you can record your screen, camera, or a voice message in the browser, create a share link, and let the recipient watch without creating an account. When replies are enabled on a Pro Shovie, recipients can reply with a video or voice message without signing up. The Free plan covers recording, downloading, and sharing. Pro adds AI transcripts and summaries, video and voice replies, reply notifications, and the My Shovies library. I would especially value feedback on the experience from record → share → reply, and whether this fits a real communication gap alongside tools like Loom, Slack, and email.
Looking forward to your questions and learning from your feedback.

Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
