I made Shotcandy because I kept losing ten minutes to the same chore: screenshot something I built, then fiddle with padding, a gradient and a shadow before it was good enough to post. The good tools were paid, watermarked, or wanted an account.
So Shotcandy is free, MIT-licensed, and runs entirely in your browser. Your screenshots never leave your machine.

Really wish I had found this before I got done preparing my launch, because once again I had to try and spruce up the screenshots manually :( And that really eats up a lot of time, and it's just so, so annoying.

tried it with the sample dashboard shot, the auto color pick off the screenshot into the gradient is a nice touch, most tools make you eyeball a matching color yourself. switching styles kept the padding and corner settings instead of resetting them too, small thing but shows someone actually used this before shipping it. for the next style: something with a plain solid dark background and just a soft drop shadow, no gradient. sometimes the gradient fights with the screenshot's own colors and a flat background lets the product be the loud part.
If you're picking the next frame, I'd add a plain Linux window: thin title bar, no traffic lights. I spend my days in a native Linux desktop, and a Mac bezel on those screenshots makes the product look like something it isn't. I'd still put a one-click blur ahead of another frame, though. Irene's question is the one that actually saves people time.
This is one of the best visual screenshot solutions I have seen. Something like this for screen recordings would also make a big difference in the UI experience :)

Love the name and it instantly caught my attention. Plus, it's super simple but something i really need. i often take screenshots for our blog and i hate how it looks. haha does it automatically blur sensitive info? i usually have to do manual blur.

This product can be a real time saver! i checked it out i feel like the phone mockup frame could improve slightly also if we could move the screenshot inside the frame anywhere that would be a killer feature. great product tho. good luck.
