We launched the original Shortwave AI Assistant on here 1 year ago. Now we're back, with a significant upgrade. We're using the latest LLMs, a brand new agent, and all-new search infrastructure. Plus, we've dramatically expanded the data sources and integrations it uses, and built a ton of UI, to make it smarter, faster, easier to use, and more capable than ever.

Some common AI use cases that I have personally include:
-Finding emails based on concepts rather than keywords (ie. “find bug reports”)

-Writing common emails way faster (“complete this draft the way I usually do”)

The predictive autocomplete and AI writing features are seriously impressive. It’s amazing how quickly this tool adapts to individual writing styles. Plus, the privacy focused features are a nice touch.

Sure, another AI email assistant, but how do you handle security with all that contextual data pulled in? Maybe consider an offline mode or local processing for sensitive info, I mean, what happens if the AI misinterprets my drafting preferences? Also, any chance we'll see a feature to automatically detect and redirect spam or phishing attempts?
