Hi everyone, Justin here. I built Shoptimal alone in Raleigh after watching small Shopify stores lose traffic to problems nobody told them about: a blank meta description field, images with no alt text, products still published months after they sold out.
The scan reads only what a shopper sees, scores the store out of 100, and ranks every leak by what it is likely costing per month, so the fix at the top is always the one worth five minutes. The app fixes the big ones in one click, in your brand's voice, and every change can be undone.
What I am launching today is the scan (no signup) and the report: we ran it over 1,520 real stores. 41% send Google a blank meta description. 55% keep out-of-stock products published. The median store scores 77, which is the point: most stores are not broken, they are leaking.
