ShopQuote Flow helps small machine shops, CNC job shops, and estimators build more transparent quotes. Use free browser-based calculators for hourly rates, setup and run-time quantity breaks, and quoted-versus-actual job costs, or start from the downloadable Excel quote template. No account is required for the calculators, and the assumptions stay visible so teams can review the math instead of trusting a black box.
Hi Product Hunt — I’m working on ShopQuote Flow for small machine shops and CNC job shops that still estimate in spreadsheets or disconnected calculators. The goal is not to hide the math: each free tool keeps labor, burden, overhead, utilization, setup, run time, scrap, and margin assumptions visible so an estimator can challenge them. The site currently includes an hourly-rate calculator, a setup + run-time quantity calculator, a quoted-versus-actual job-cost calculator, and a downloadable Excel quote template. No account is required for the calculators, and inputs stay in the browser. I’d especially value feedback from shop owners and estimators on terminology, missing assumptions, and where the tools should be more conservative.
