Shipnoted is a changelog, feedback board and public roadmap that closes the loop from your git: customers ask, your pull request cites the request, and everyone who asked is told when it ships.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Vamsi, the maker of Shipnoted.
I built it because telling customers what you shipped, and hearing what they want next, was always a pile of copy-pasting between a board, a tracker and an email tool.
Here's the loop:
Every request gets a number, like SN-12, and duplicates are caught while people type.
Write "Closes SN-12" in a pull request and it links itself.
Release notes are drafted from your merged pull requests. You read, edit and publish; nothing goes live without you.
When you publish, everyone who asked gets one email: you asked, it shipped.
It includes a public changelog, a feedback board, a roadmap and an in-app widget, all themed to look like your product. The free plan is the whole product for one project. Pro is $9 a month.
I'd love to hear what's missing, and which feedback tool you use today.
