I'm Steven, the maker of Shimly Radio. I built this as a side project because I wanted website owners to have a dead-simple way to add background music — for free.
The whole idea: paste one script tag, music plays. No signups, no subscriptions, no complicated setup.
It works on Shopify, WordPress, Wix, plain HTML, React — basically everywhere. There's also a Chrome Extension so the radio follows you across every tab, and an Android App on Google Play.
Audio ads run between songs automatically — just like real radio. That's how it stays free for everyone.
